Prime Base Engineering — the engineers behind EstiMatrix
We are a team of practising civil engineers working across new construction, structural retrofit and renovation. Our work is grounded in the Bangladesh National Building Code and the PWD Schedule of Rates, and we believe accurate cost estimates should not depend on years of field exposure.
Why a construction firm built a software platform
Every project we deliver — a garments factory in Gazipur, a PEB warehouse in Narayanganj, a column-jacketing package for an RMG building under DEA — starts the same way: a bill of quantities, a rate analysis for every item, and a budget the owner can trust. For years our engineers did that work in spreadsheets, re-typing PWD Schedule of Rates items, re-deriving cement and sand from mix ratios and recalculating everything whenever VAT or a drawing changed.
EstiMatrix is the tool we built to stop doing that by hand. It carries every PWD SoR edition, generates the rate analysis behind each item, tracks today's market prices, and turns measurements into a tender-ready BOQ in Excel, PDF or e-GP format. We made it free so that every civil engineer in Bangladesh — including those just starting out — can produce standard-compliant estimates.
